The Puppini Sisters are an Italian-English vocal trio hailing from London, and consisting of Marcella Puppini, Kate Mullins and Emma Smith.
Formed in 2004, the trio aren’t sisters but named themselves in tribute to The Andrews Sisters. Part of the burlesque revival scene, they are known for their classic mixture of acappella jazz and swing with vocal harmonies and a dash of pop.
The group signed with UCJ (Universal Classics and Jazz) in 2005, and released their debut album ‘Betcha Bottom Dollar’ in 2006. Since then, they’ve been non-stop, working both in the studio and on stage, and have gone on to release three more records, as well as a greatest hits compilation released in early 2015.
The Puppini Sisters return to UK venues for a set of UK shows in March 2016, as well as a show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in May. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information below on Stereoboard
