Simona Molinari is a pop-jazz singer-songwriter with 7 albums to her name.

She has collaborated with numerous artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Al Jarreau and Ornella Vanoni. She has performed in top Italian and international theaters, from the Blue Note in New York to the Estrada Theater in Moscow. She has participated in the Sanremo Festival twice as a contestant and twice as a guest.

We have seen her in prime time alongside Massimo Ranieri first and then Piero Chiambretti.

In 2019, she made her debut as the lead actress in the film “C’è tempo” by Walter Veltroni.

In addition to writing and composing a large part of her discography, she has also written and performed the opening theme song for “I delitti del Barlume” and the end credits song for the latest film by Giovannni Veronesi: “Romeo è Giulietta“, which was recently released in theaters.

Over the years, she has won numerous awards for her dedication, performance, and versatility. She received the Carosone Award in 2009, the Italian Excellence Award in 2020, the Tenco Prize in 2022, and the Callas Award in New York in 2024.

Currently, she is involved in a theater show called “El Pelusa Y La Negra“, a song theater production created by Cosimo Damiano D’Amato, from which she drew inspiration for her latest album tribute to Mercedes Sosa.
