This new project presents an attention-grabbing artistic union between one of the most elegant and appreciated american jazz singers on the Italian jazz scene and the most popular and highly sought after saxophonist on the Finnish jazz scene. Joyce Elaine Yuille’s sophisticated delivery, with obvious hints of soul, blues and gospel, combined with the cool bebop retro style represented by Timo Lassy have produced an original sound that the Finnish public and international critics have appreciated during their show at the first We Jazz Festival in Helsinki, where they performed at the famous Club Dubrovnik. Joyce and Timo have in common the notable record label Schema Records with whom Joyce is preparing and recording her new album.
After three consecutive sold out shows at the Blue Note Milano, Joyce proposes yet another project that will surely arouse the Milanese public’s interest and ignite it’s enthusiasm. A concert full of class, good music and cooKin ‘jazz.
